H&M #elleinsider Style Awards Pre Party Event

We ran a workshop at the flagship H&M store on Oxford Circus printing onto tea towels and tote bags. The designs, created by staff at H&M, where printed in fluorescent green and black to co-inside with the events overall brand image.
Roughly 200 guests attended the event where they could also have a portrait drawn and watch Florrie perform live on stage!

Science Museum Engineering Lates

The first #smlates of the year was another busy one! We designed a two layer screen print around the theme of engineering, using circuit boards to create typography and backgrounds. Once again we where very busy and ran out of all 400 prints before 10pm!
We are at the Science Museum every month for lates, come down and have a go yourself!

V&A Arts Award workshops

We ran a workshop at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, for children with learning disabilities, working towards an Arts Award. The workshops was based around the subject of World War One. I based the workshop on work by artist Edward Wadsworth, the designer of Dazzle Camouflage.
Each student had there own screen to print with and created designs on it using tape. I supplied a wide range of colours to choose from as well as some letterpress type blocks and ink rollers. Each student went away with at least 5 prints to put into there sketch books which they continued to work on by hand after the workshop.

Information Age Lates

Screen Grab took part in the Science Museums Information Age Late. We printed 450 one layer designs in a range of colours to take with use for guests to print the second layer onto. Everyone who takes part gets to pull there own print and take it home with them for free

We are at the Science Museums Lates every month, come along and have a go yourself!

H&M Screen Printing Event.

We took part in a workshop at H&M HQ in Oxford Circus for a christmas PR event. The guests where able to print a range of christmassy designs onto tea towels and aprons!

#SMLATES artwork, Illusion and magic.

This months #smlates was all about illusion and magic, connected to the current exhibition, Joan Fontcuberta: Stranger Than Fiction.

We designed an optical illusion print with a hidden hashtag within it. The text was easy to see from a distance but almost invisible close up. We printed this design only in black for a real illusion effect.

V&A Creative Quarter Workshops

Screengrab had a great day teaching secondary school kids about colour theory through screen printing. We took a range of screens with geometric shapes and a ton of bright colours to play around with. We ran five classes throughout the day with different schools. Each student took away lots of work on A3 card which they could use in there sketchbooks back at school.

Museum of London 'Our Londinium" Workshop

At the Museum of London we ran a workshop creating prints about the current exhibition 'Our Londinium'.
I created a design that represented the architectural changes of the city using rubbings taken from buildings, monuments and signage. The oldest rubbing was from the remains of the London Wall, and the most recent from Millennium Bridge.
At the workshop, guests printed a final layer of text onto the artwork and where then able to take them home with!
